Saint Francis’ Ogburn Achieves FACHE Credential

Vice President of Saint Francis Medical Partners, Alex Ogburn, MBA, FACHE, recently became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, (FACHE) the nation’s leading professional society for healthcare leaders.

FACHE is a premier board certification in healthcare management and formally recognizes Ogburn’s high competency, commitment to service and recognition as an esteemed leader. It builds mastery around a core body of knowledge needed for effective healthcare management. It also prepares leaders to adapt in uncertainty and anchors them for solid decision-making. Fewer than 20 percent of ACHE executives attain Fellow status.

The credentialing system involves academic preparation, healthcare management experience, three years of tenure as an American College of Healthcare Executives member, passing the Board of Governors Examination in Healthcare Management, continuing education, references, and community and civic involvement.
